Something New: Bristol Board

This is something new for me: gouache on Bristol Board. This is a medium weight paper, very smooth and very absorbent. The feel is quite different (to me anyway) than the watercolor paper I've been using but I really like it. I was concentrating less on getting the likeness than on getting the feel of the paper.
