Two ACEOs for the April Nibblefest Art Contest

I haven't done ACEOs in a while and wanted to do something for this month's NFAC. The theme is "Things in Jars." It looks like everyone was imagining fireflies or fairies in jars, but of course all I could think of was treats. :)

The Musicians of Bremen Play the Farm

Gouache, pen & ink, 5"x7". For the next Nibblefest Art Contest with the theme of "farm animals." The story is one of Grimm's, you can read about it here.

Pizza Rat and the Werewolf ACEO

On Halloween night, Pizza Rat managed to haul his slice up the stairs and out on to Central Park West. There he found a nice place to eat his tasty dinner. But in a minute, he was surrounded by strange looking humans, who seemed less interested in hurting him than in waving odd looking rectangular things with bright lights at him, jabbering things that sounded like "video" and "internet." Lo and behold, at that moment a Werewolf emerged from the park, as the moon was full. He chased the humans and they ran away in terror. The rat ate his pizza and was happy. The end.
Done for this month's Nibblefest Art Contest for the theme "Creatures of the Night," Watercolor, pen and ink, 2.5" by 3.5".

On the Planet of Ratooine

Done for the April Nibblefest Art Contest, theme of planets, stars , space. This week the official trailer for the upcoming new Star Wars film came out, and it seemed fitting to do a piece of Star Wars art. Gouache 5"x7".

Rat on a Unicycle ACEO

This month's theme for the NFAC art contest is "things with wheels." Well a unicycle only has one wheel, but I think it still counts. It has to be a very small vehicle for a rat to reach it with his feet. It doesn't come out in the scan but there is purple glitter on the background. It is listed on eBay here.
