Autograph!

My friend in England took two high res copies of my portrait of Darryl Dixon to the London Comicon, where she got to meet Norman Reedus. She gave him a copy and had him autograph the second for me. Big smile!

Merle Dixon

I couldn't paint Daryl without painting Merle, his big bad older brother. I have always liked Michael Rooker, the actor who plays him. Gouache 5"x7".

I decided to do something for fun and get some more practice painting in gouache (which I love) so I decided to try doing everyone's favorite redneck from The Walking Dead. Daryl is played by Norman Reedus. I'm not sure I have the likeness down perfectly, but I like the painting well enough to keep it. Of course now I will do Merle.
