The Animal Wish List Yahoo Group

I just got information on this group and joined. It looks like a valuable resource for those needing or wanting to help. Here is the description off the home page:

Description

This is a Charity group where animal lovers, pet owners, rescuers, rehabbers, and animal sanctuaries can come to post messages about the ITEMS/SUPPLIES, VOLUNTEER WORK, and/or FUNDS needed to help in caring for animals or need help with vet bills.

When posting a Wish List, please provide the state you live in, what is needed, and provide a CONTACT email address in your post.

If you can fulfill any animal wish list, please contact the poster of the message by using the provided email address in that message.
Here is the link if you want to check it out (there is a separate group for those in the UK).

The Yogurt Drop Song

Years ago, Matt created this and it has become an all time favorite. We are lucky enough to catch a command performance given at Ratfest by Matt & Jane. Many thanks to Jessica for filming this!

2 Pews

I have a very soft spot for white rats and enjoy painting them. This watercolor is intended as a gift.

Here is the happy winner of the painting at the 2008 NE Ratfest!

Rat Angels for the Nibblefest Art Contest

NFAC is a monthly contest on eBay that begins on the 20th and ends on the 27th. Each month has a theme. and there are no restrictions on medium or type of art. Bidding must begin a 99 cents, and the person with the most bids wins a small prize. This month's theme is Angels & Demons, so I thought I'd recycle some of my rat angels. Do an eBay search for NFAC after the 20th to see many wonderful works of art that are very affordable.

The Whitechapel Rat & the Bunch of Grapes

I am liking the idea of doing a series of Ripper themed rat aceos. I hope my friend Bev doesn't mind that I transported her Pickle back to the foggy streets of the East End.
