The theme for this month's Nibblefest Art Contest is "Letters, Signs & Symbols." I wasn't feeling too inventive with this category, so I thought I'd do something for my Wiccan friends. This drawing is posted on eBay here.

Whitechapel: The Unfortunates

In Victorian London, "Unfortunates" was a euphemism for prostitutes. While this drawing does represent the five canonical victims of Jack the Ripper, there was no attempt to do actual likenesses. Graphite, 11"x14".

Whitechapel: Inspector Abberline

Inspector Abberline did not look like Johnny Depp, he was not an alcoholic or an opium addict. By all accounts he was pretty much a straight arrow kind of guy.
